Skipping issue? Not sure how to fix this...

I've been noticing an increased number of these gaps in my prints. It's happening across all PLA brands I'm printing with and seems to be getting worse. I have multiple i3 MK3S+ printers and I'm noticing the issue on all of them, but it happens in different locations on each print, even with multiples of the same item on the build plate at the same time.

I'm not sure what settings information would be helpful, but I'm happy to share whatever is needed.

Just to clarify... the round holes are part of the design, but the random skipped areas are not 🙂

.3mf

I think first of all most folks on here are going to want you to zip up your .3mf file and attach here.  This will allow folks to see your settings.

Other useful info might be:

Version of the slicer.  OS you're running on.  And version of the printer firmware.

I think this will at least give folks something to go on in helping with your issue.

File

Thank  you! I'm on the newest firmware (the printers were just shipped within the last month) and PrusaSlicer 2.3.3 on Windows 10 x64

Some printers don't have the issue at all (or very much). Others are much worse which is causing me to wonder if I need to oil the rails (it's also worse on some sides of the print than others).

Here's the .3mf file:

RE: Skipping issue? Not sure how to fix this...

Update on this in case anyone else runs into the same issue...

We were using the PolyMaker Polyterra Matte Filament. We discovered that it's causing a problem somehow with the nozzle over time (affects brass nozzles and hardened nozzles) -- either clogging it or damaging it -- which results in these skips. Replacing the nozzle resolves the issue, but continuing to use this filament resulted in the issue again after several prints.

We've stopped using that filament, replaced all nozzles, and no longer have the issue.
