Problems with ABS and PLA
Hi, I bought a mk3 in August, I printed up a few days ago without any problem.
A few days ago I started to print a piece for cosplay with PLA prusa for a friend but after the first 10 layers about the printer has begun to no longer extrude and stop, I tried several attempts such as raising temperatures but without success, I thought that maybe the fault was of the filament that had taken humidity and then I tried to print in ABS, the print has done correctly but the first layers are deformed, someone can give me some advice?
in the photo you can see how the first layers are deformed and not like the others.
I use the standard settings of the slic3r program provided, I put the photo to show 2 examples, the complete one 4 layers of raft while the one stopped I tried with 8 thinking that it deformed with the warmth of the bed. I also did a third attempt without raft but with brim and the first layer did it correctly while the others started to shrink and then go back to print in normal size.
Re: Problems with ABS and PLA
Is the first layer firmly stuck all over the surface?
If it does not, wash the bed with detergent and water. It works much better than both acetone or alcohol.
