problems printing prusament premium PLA Mystic Green

Hello there,

I am having problems with a brand new roll of mystic green pla unable to print it at all. With the same file I can print it with galaxy sliver thats been open for about 2 months.

the first print the temp was at 215 (failed), the second 225 (failed), third 225 supports printed perfect but not the figure (failed), fourth is printed with temp of 215 and passed with different filament. I did break the sword the supports were a little too close in my option not sure where they should be.

I even took apart the heater block and took out the ptfe tube to make sure it was not clogged and even passed a needle to make sure there was nothing wrong with it.

Any help would be lovely,

thank you for you time,

TrueHawkEyes.

-----> The figure is printed at 0.07 layer height with a .4 nozzle and the supports a still a little to hard to break apart

I would change the layer height from 0.07 to 0.15mm for the moment or try to print an original Prusa part from the SD card. After that you can see if the slicer settings are wrong or if there are hardware issues.

Layer height 0.07mm is problematic. The printer must be well calibrated and adjusted.

@karl-herbert

Why is .07 hard to print? what makes it problematic?

The miniature in the last picture printed great just can't print it in the mystic green. Want to know what i am doing wrong to get the filament to print.

@truehawkeyes

The lower the layer height, the more precisely you have to adjust temperature, cooling and printing speed for each filament experimentally. In addition, a good adjustment of the LA values for each filament is a great advantage.
In general, the smaller the nozzle and the layer height, the more accurate the printing parameters and hardware have to be adjusted.
