Printing mechanical part

Hi,

My son wants to print a mechanical part for a school project. We used supports but it's very difficult to remove these without damaging the part. Is there another solution to print this properly?

See .STL file  in https://we.tl/t-8YAWw1PxME

Thx for your advice!

RE: Printing mechanical part

you could try this...

coil (2)
it's rotate9 90degrees to reduce the supports.

and the supports overhang threshold is set to 30degrees which may be a bit small if it droops try 40degrees
