Printing Custom Key Caps : Incised coloured letter

Making custom keycaps for a hotkey controller.  The best results seems to come with a keycap body printed in solid black with white letters. Other colours such as red are quite translucent and muddy when printing in thin layers .  Using a .4mm nozzle means that letters smaller than 7mm suffer from imperfections.  In fusion the text is incised .5mm. The key cap is printed face down.  First layer is .20 thick in the base (black ) colour.  Then coulour change is called and white layers are printed for an additional .45mm . Colour  change again is called with the remainder in black being printed.  Using standard Prusment setting with  .15mm  (speed) setting, no brim, 10% infill.  Biggest problem is artifacts, mini blob  or other filament feed imperections.
It is possible to print with face up,  but the fitting of the internal key button male plug is not reliable.

Does anyone have a better way to print 2 colour Keycaps?.... With crisp readable text?
