Can't make PS to fully support an overhanging surface

I am designing a quite complex structure with a small overhang on one side. Somehow I can't make Prusaslicer to fully support this overhang. I made a small test model to simulate the situation and it behaves in the same way:

With support everywhere enabled PS only creates support along the perimeter and not supporting the whole surface. I tried also the other support setttings including paint-on support but I seem get the same result.

What am I missing, and is there a way to force support under the whole overhanging surface?

I attach the 3mf (zipped) of my test object

Found the solution myself

The tickmark "don't support bridges' was on. Unchecking it makes the support behave as I require.

Yes it does.  That particular question has been answered on the forum hundreds of times already.  Its a pity the forum search sucks.
