Print order and home query
Hi all
Just getting to grips with my mk3s and Prusa slicer. Today I was experimenting with more than one object on the build plate. All my prints to date have been singles and have started pretty much "home", "calibrate" "purge left to right" and "print". All by the software's fair hand. This time when printing (the nut and bolt samples....just a couple of 100% bigger 😉) the song went something like "home", "calibrate", "move to far end of X", "purge right to left" and "print". Is this normal i.e. something the software selects as the most appropriate start point? Happy if it is but I will admit it scared the pants off me.

No that’s not normal for a mk3. The prime line that starts left to right just outside the normal print area at the front is done by gcode in your start gcode area under Printer Settings. If that’s changed then your start up code must be different. You don’t have a profile for the mini installed and selected do you ? I think the mini does it that way. Just make sure you have the right printer selected.
