Another "supports starting from model"
My supports breakaway from the UNDERSIDE of the model very nicely. Z distance, .1875. But they sure stick to the top side of the model. If I increase the z distance my overhangs may droop.
Adaptive layer is on. I think the print job is keen, but picking away at the support that gets built from the model surface is no fun, at all. I have tried printing in two halves, hemispheres, and gluing. But it is tough to get the ribs to line up nicely, they must be done one at a time. I have tried hemispheres with two different orientations.
It would be nice to get my supports tuned in.
PS - the color change was done to get rid of misc filament - PLA.
Any ideas will be appreciated.
