PLA stopped sticking to non-powdercoat bed
Hello,
I have a I3 MK3S that I bought assembled. It does not have the powdercoat bed. I'm slicing with PrusaSlicer version 2.0.0+ , using all the defaults for "0.15mm QUALITY MK3" and I'm printing from OctoPrint 1.3.11 running on OctoPi 0.16.0. I'm printing PLA
This has worked great until tonight. Now no matter whether I use I'm using the Grey/Silver Prusament that came with the printer, or black from Hatchbox, prints keep breaking away from the bed. It doesn't matter if I use a raft or not.
I tried either side of the bed, after I cleaned each with 91% isopropyl alcohol

time to wash the plate in plain ( dawn) dish detergent and hot running water. rinse till the water beads up on the surface

Actually, I think I messed up the live Z, trying to manually move the Z axis.

@jhoover If you have moved the Z axis manually, you need to recalibrate the Z level.
You do this under the Calibration / Calibrate Z menu.
You can then move the Z-level by holding down the knob for a second. Then, turn the knob for Z + or - .

And moving the lead screws by hand or by machine doesn't change Live-Z ... it's set by PINDA height.

You may have messed up the synchronization between the two Z motors. Try recalibrating your z axis (not the same as live-z which as tim mentions is set by the PINDA probe). One side of your x-axis assembly might be slightly higher than the other (just a single step off is bad).

When I said "manually", I think I used the wrong word. I did not physically cause the lead screws to move. I wanted to tell it to move the Z axis by using the knob on the LCD - I must have used the live z and realized it wasn't doing moving it the way I wanted, but by then I'd messed up the live z setting.
RE: PLA stopped sticking to non-powdercoat bed
Sure enough, my issue was the Live Z setting. Now I got that dialed in, my prints adhere!

Great that you found your error. One quick tip to help avoid (and find the correct "move z-axis" menu item): Press and hold the jog-wheel. This should in most cases give you the "move z-axis" control. (The only time I access the move axis menu anymore is to extrude if I don't already have pronterface connected.)
