Need adjustment with 0.8mm Hotend and 0.4mm layer
Hi,
I'm looking for the correct parameter to setup with bigger hotend.
Used to print with 0.4mm hotend, no problem then switch to 0.8mm hotend and seems to have a retractation on layer change (see picture)
On picture, dents are misaligned because i set aligment to random
With Prusa Slicer, would you know which parameter to set to decrease retractation on layer change ?
MK3S, firmware 3.12.2
Prusa slicer 2.5.2, 0.4mm layer
Printing sertup: PETG, 1.75mm, 230° hotend, 80°bead

How about you start with turning retract on layer change off. Printer Settings>extruder. As you are using petg you might also want to check the filament over rides section of the filament profile you are using to see if there’s any in there too.
