Multiple prints detaching
I printed a single small part - there is a colour change part way through, so want to reduce the time changing filment
Then did a batch of 10 parts all perfect
So filled up the print bed - about 50. About 10 had detached by half way through the print - those at the edge of the plate
Tried 20 and 2 detached. Again the ones on the edge of the group
Back to batches of 10 and printing perfect.
Any advice why this happens?

Poor Live Z,
contaminated Build plate,
Wrong temperatures
Are you using 7x7 mesh bed levelling
then try this process

good luck, Joan
RE: Multiple prints detaching
made a new gcode with the 2 parts from the batch of 20 in the same positions - printed prefect

RE: Multiple prints detaching
Thanks for the advice. I have not tried 7x7 levelling yet, but will give it a go. Also the cleaning.
Nozzle 210 Bed 70. Printing PLA. Does not stick well at 60. The calibration was OK at 60 a few days ago.
All of the prints have been with zero changes at all to the printer - bed came out of the box and has never been cleaned. It has processed over 5kg of filament so far. (PLA and PETG)
Most recent prints are 13 of these items arranged with 9 around the circumference of the plate, one in the centre and 4 around this so that they are all equally spaced. All stayed on the build surface. 3 had a slight warp. Sometimes one in the batch of 10 had a warp. the 3 with a warp had poor first layers - extruder a bit high.
Just completed batch of 12 in a 4x3 on the centre of the plate. Slight warp on one on the right, see picture. On close inspection 10 are perfect and another has a slight warp. All acceptable for intended use.
Posting this now as had the same problem before with this printer (now had for 3 months) and many times with the previous printer I have had for 5 years. For previous prints it did not matter too much as they were single colour, but once I found how easy multicolour was on Prusa I thought it time to try a big bunch of prints again. Seems that there is a time limit for the print hanging onto the bed. Perhaps an enclosure is a way forward?
RE: Multiple prints detaching
ran the suggested calibration. Live z was 500. this resulted printed as non connected strings. At 575 almost fully connected and 600 solid. 610 and 620 also look good and much more difficult to get off the build plate. Unfortunately only have a digital caliper and this measures thickness at 0.3mm. 32 to go to complete the job, so have these ready to go tomorrow with the new live z.

So things are looking up!

RE: Multiple prints detaching
Ran a print of 32 grouped in the middle of the bed - all remained on the bed. two have a very minor warp, but less so than previous prints.
This completed this particular job.
Seems the live Z has fixed this issue

RE: Multiple prints detaching
Sorry, my edit did not appear to have come through, so will post again.
Thanks for helping me with this issue Joan.
I found other threads on the forum on this topic, but not one that led to a solution other than print one at a time. Hope your advice also helps others.
