More Stringing with heigher extrusion width?
Hi,
I want to optimize my print with PETG for overhanging models. Therefore I reduced mit layer height and increased the extrusion width.
Layer height = 0.15 -> 0.1
Extrusion Width = 0.45 -> 0.5
Before I reached ~ 65-70° and now ~ 70° but unfortunately with more stringing.
Rectration: 2.5mm
Retraction speed: 50mm/s
Rectract amount before wipe (Coasting): 50%
Filament Temp: 200°C (210-230° recommended)
Extrusion Multiplier: 0.95
Cooling 80%
Speed: 45mm/s
Travel: 180mm/s
1.) Does Prusa Slicer automatically adjust the Flow Rate if changing the Extrusion Width, Layer height or Speed?
2.) Does a heigher Extrusion Width means more pressure on the deeper layer and more contact to the filament and so more stringing?
Thanks...

As for 1) this may be the info you are looking for https://manual.slic3r.org/advanced/flow-math or in short: yes
