mk3 can't print abs on left side
Had my mk3 upgrade running for a month or so, prints pal faultlessly but I can't get abs to print. I have tried live z adjust which seems perfect tried bed level correction. The problem I'm having is when printing 1st layer is brilliant and all seems good until I get warping on the left side of the bed resulting in nozzle crash lifting the print and then a plate of spaghetti. I have been printing abs without any problems with 2 mk2 for nearly 2 years but just can't sort the mk3 out.
Re: mk3 can't print abs on left side
Hello Dave,
I'm wandering if you already printed ABS on two machines for two years, I would expect you should know already all the tricks to get ABS stick to the bed. If not, feel free to use the search function "abs stick" in the forum.
Ambient air on the left side on MK2/MK2S/MK3 is colder then the right side. That's why it will most likely raise on the left side.

Re: mk3 can't print abs on left side
Thanks for the reply. Yes I have been printing abs without any problems and I have gone through all the ups and downs of success and failure. I have not tried using any glue or aid with the mk3 as I have never had to with my mk2's once dialled in they have only ever needed fine adjustment to keep them reliably printing. I am going to put the mk3 in an enclosure to see if that will help. It has just knocked me sideways after 2 years of being able to set my mk2 printers up with ease I thought the mk3 would be a breeze. But I suppose this is the fun of 3d printing. I will post results with enclosure.
Thanks
