Layer Jumped Mid-print, Printer Pausing to Reheat Mid-print
I am reprinting an object because there was a slight layer shifting happening. I tightened my x-axis and y-axis so the tension is within the recommended levels. During the reprint, the printing suddenly shifted significantly and started the print about 4cm off the previous layer. The printer also paused to reheat and then restarted the print. Any suggestions on what is causing this to happen? Thank you.

I'm no expert on the layer shift, but the reheat pause reminds me of an issue I had before I upgraded to MK3S. What type of Prusa printer do you have?
The issue I was having on my MK3 was poor filament sensing of the optical (laser?) mouse style filament sensor. Some of my filaments would do that pausing until I turned off the filament sensor.

If you adjusted your belt to get 240 on the LCD ... well ... despite what the manual says, the LCD is not a good indicator of belt tension. If I got my LCD to read 240 I'd be bending my printer in half and destroying my stepper motor bearings, or breaking the belt. My LCD reads 296 and I know my belt tension is 8 lbf. Gates specs 2 lbf min, and the motor shaft is rated 11 lbf at 1/2 inch.

If so, yes, disable your filament sensor.

Thanks for the suggestions! The filament sensor was turned off. Having just tightened the belts I loosened them a bit and discovered the y-axis pulley had slipped. It felt tight but on closer inspection, the screw was not resting against the flat part of the shaft. After I adjusted the pulley it is printing fine. Curious that is always failed at the same point though, after the first layer and fill were completed. Seems like the pulley problem would have caused issues from the very start.

A loose pulley sometimes stays in position until the print job finally hits an acceleration high enough to break it loose. That can well be at the same place in the print job when you try again.
