Issues with new nozzle
Hello everyone,
Been printing with my MK3 for over a month just fine, but I installed a new nozzle a few days ago and have been having some problems. The nozzle is a 0.6 hardened steel ordered from E3D. The first layer seems to be fine, but but 2nd layer on this larger print does not seem to adhere well. I have tinkered with the live adjust z, print speeds, temperature and different filaments but I just cant seem to get it to print normally. Any ideas? Picture attached
Thanks in advance.
Re: Issues with new nozzle
Have you re-done your Live-Z calibration for the new nozzle? You'll need to slice a part for testing with the new nozzle. I like to use the same 75x75x0.20mm size as used in the "Life adjust" thread, but sliced using the 0.60mm nozzle size. My Live-Z notes and 0.60mm test prints here.
Take a look at the extrusions that are coming loose. If they're cylindrical with little "squish", bring your Z down (make Live-Z more negative) a bit.

Re: Issues with new nozzle
Probably a stupid question but did you change the nozzle size in your slicer and reslice all the g code on your old files?
