Is there something wrong with the print settings in this 3MF?

I am learning OpenSCAD, and just exporting a simple model to be the basis of a container. I am not printing tops or bottoms to use infill as the floor to save filament/time.

This is having first layer adhesion issues, and I can't figure out why. My verified test print STLs are turning out fine, but this one just doesn't adhere. And thats true even if I do print tops or bottoms, PLA or PETG.

I gotta be missing something? Attached the 3MF

Make sure your model is "settled" to zero in the 3mf, and then this whole game is going to be live Z - be aggressive.  Send pictures of what you are seeing on the print bed.

@lucas

I am learning OpenSCAD, and just exporting a simple model to be the basis of a container.

This looks like a simple cube([x,y,z]); base.  I doubt this is an OpenSCAD issue.

My verified test print STLs are turning out fine, but this one just doesn't adhere.

I'm going to guess that the test print STLs are fairly small and print in the centre of the bed..?

This is almost a full bed part, it covers the area of the steel plate that you probably handle when removing smaller objects.

Try a really thorough bed clean making doubly sure of the outer edges.

Hth, Cheerio,

Thanks to both of you, I gave it a good washing with dawn an a soft sponge and adjusted z-down a bit (though my test z print was great) and it's currently adhering and printing.

I doubted it was OpenScad as well, though I do have a 1 unit z height, that keeps importing as 3mm and not sure, considering its just a cube and a minkowski. Oh well, mo printing, mo problems.
