Gitterroste drucken
Hallo, ist es möglich mit dem Filamentdrucker Prusa mini, diese filigrane Struktur zu drucken?
Die Stege sind 0,4 mm dick.
Da ich den Aufwand mit dem Harzdrucker vermeiden möchte, suche ich eine Möglichkeit mit Filament zu drucken.

Das sollte mit jedem FDM Drucker (einschließlich Prusa Mini) gehen. Im Slicer muss nur die Option "Dünne Wände erkennen" aktiviert werden. Ich würde aber dennoch zu einer 0.25mm Düse (besser 0.15) anstelle der 0.4mm raten.

Ich bin absoluter Anfänger und habe noch keinen Drucker.
Würde gern den Mini kaufen, aber der ist ja leider noch nicht verfügbar.
Kann man auch kleine Düsen in den großen Prusa Drucker einbauen?
Welches ist die kleinste Düse?

Der i3 (oder wie du ihn nennts, den "großen Prusa") verwendet ein E3D hot-end. Der Mini verwendet ein E3D "kompatibles" hot-end. Die Düsen sollten also austauschbar sein. Die Profile des Mini sind zwar noch nicht veröffentlicht, aber es müsste auch hier wieder Profile für 0.25, 0.4 und 0.6mm Düsen von Prusa geben. Für die 0.15 müsstest du ein eigenes Profil anlegen (oder hier im Forum danach fragen). Hier die Liste der E3D Messing Düsen.
0.15 ist die Kleinste. Da die entsprechend zum Verstopfen neigt, muss aber auf saubers Filament geachtet werden (also kein Glitter oder so).

Das mit den Düsen habe ich verstanden.
Man kann auch in den i3 kleine Düsen einbauen, zB. 0,15mm, ok.
Also kann ich auch den i3 kaufen und muss nicht auf den mini warten.
Aber das mit den Profilen verstehe ich nicht.
Bitte erkläre mir was Du meinst, zB. eigenes Profil anlegen.

The slicer program needs to know what parameters are appropriate for the particular nozzle in use.
Prusa typically provide per configured values for 0.25mm, 0.4mm and 0.6mm nozzles, however they do not provide values for 0.15mm nozzles.
If you want to use a 0.15mm nozzle you would have to change the settings within the prusa slicer software, and it would be sensible to save the settings for future use, the file which is created when you save the settings, is an ini file... and will constitute the profile for that nozzle size.
If you load Prusa Slicer you can experiment and see what changes...
NOTE the Prusa Mk2 and Prusa Mk3 BOTH have a minimum first layer height, in firmware, of 0.15mm...
I have no idea what the minimum will be for the Original Prusa Mini printer, but I suspect the value will also be 0.15mm
the biggest layerheight for a given nozzle size is typically 80% of the nozzle diameter, so... for a 0.4mm nozzle it would be about 0.32mm (YES I KNOW the Mk2 printer has a 0.35 mm layer height profile, and YES I have used it successfully.....
BUT ... 80% of 0.15mm is 0.12mm, which is well below the minimum layer height in the firmware on Mk2 and Mk3, and probably on the Mini...
in addition, the extrusion width changes for various print elements, relative to the nozzle size.
I am no expert on which other parameters change with nozzle size.
However this information, gives you a starter...

Wie bereits gesagt, ich bin am lernen. 🙂
Die Slicer Software werde ich zum testen mal laden.
So wie es aussieht kann ich auch den i3 kaufen.
Ich dachte der kleinere Drucker wäre für kleine Gegenstände besser geeignet?

hi Uwe,
as far as I know, the mk3 can do everything that the mini can do, except live in a small space, have pretty LCD menu's and support integrated Wifi
however, if you had ordered before Black friday, you could have had a mk3, almost immediately...
I still think you would get a mk3 faster than a Mini...
and you may benefit from Black Friday discounts to minimise the cost differential.
A lot of people add wifi functionality and more, using a raspberry pi attached to the mk3
if at a later date, you fancy multi material, the mk3 can support MMU2, at the moment, the mini can't
