First Layer not uniform

Typically my first layer is what fails if a print fails
I've run the first layer called, and adjusted the live Z, but the right side of my bed is always super thin (causing the extruder to knock)
Any further suggestions? The bed is clean and there are no pieces of debris

Re: First Layer not uniform

first of all, run the Z axis up to the top and let the motors stall,,, to ensure that the X axis is level.

if the problem persists,
there is a Bed level Correction option in the calibration menu,

you can adjust left, right, back and front, relative to the middle,
you could try positive values on the right and negative values on the

or you could try ultra fine bed levelling... but that's more technical

Hi Joan.

I remember reading the post about ultra fine bed leveling but can't seem to find it. If you have the link for that thread handy I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

chad.

Hi Joan,

I found what I was remembering reading. Is this what you were referring to?
