First layer issues after printing TPU

I have been using my printer for over a year and a half with no issues. Recently just tried printing with TPU and all went well. After switching back to PETG I cannot get any good bed adhesion with either my smooth or rough PEI sheets. Seems like inconsistent extrusion. Tried doing a cold pull and it was completely clean. Any ideas of where I should go next?

RE: First layer issues after printing TPU

I've printed a good amount of TPU over the years on my MK3 and always found  it took some effort to go back to PETG (or anything else) after.

1)Clean the print sheets (dishsoap/IPA) if you haven't already

2) Do some printing with filament you don't mind wasting a bit of. Even after a cold pull, I suspect there's still some TPU residue in the extruder that mucks things up for a while

3) There are mixed opinions on the value of "cleaning filament", but I had pretty good luck running some cleaning filament through at PC nozzle temps (270)

I cleaned with dish soap and then 99% I said propyl alcohol and that seems to magically fix all my problems. Must have just been a dirty bed. Thanks for your help.
