Filthy surface on overhang

Hello,

so far I only had great prints except for some adhesion problems I need to look into. But this turned out a bit strange on the slight overhang. The other side looks ok, its just half of the overhang that looks like this. What could cause this? Its not a very big overhang.

Thanks

Kind regards

The parts fan only blows from one direction so the section facing away from the fan gets less cooling.

The poor surface is due to the so-called 45-degree rule. An overhang that has a slope of less than 45 degrees can be very difficult to print. Different filaments give different good results. You get even better surface and you do the first part with a 45 degree slope.

Thanks for all the replies! I tried it with 0.15mm layer height and it turned out better. But the side facing away from the fan is always a bit inconsistent. So I guess I will try some fanduct mods.
