Difficult removal of support material using 0.3mm layers

I usually print PETG and PLA on my MK3+ with 0.2mm layers and default settings for support material i.e. Top Contact Z Distance 0.2 (detachable). This all works great and the supports are easily removable:-)

Occasionally I also like to print draft objects at a layer height of 0.3mm with the same default settings for support material. These prints always have very difficult support removal. So a few questions about making support removal easier:-

I am curious about what I should change in Print Settings->Support Material for printing with 0.3mm layers?

Is it as simple as changing the Top Contact Z Distance to 0.3? 

What about printing with 0.1mm layers....would the support Top Contact Z Distance then need to be 0.1? 

If its as simple as the above, could this be integrated into the Prusaslicer software (currently the Support Material settings appear to remain the same regardless of print layer height) ?

Any thoughts/advice would be great.

Support seperation is almost independant of layer height, support distance can be varied to ease removal and some filaments (eg polyamides) need greater distances than others.

Many thanks for your comment Diem. I still don't get why printing at 0.2mm layer height has easy support removal whilst printing at 0.3mm layer height has very difficult support removal (using default support setting in both cases). I use a 0.4mm extruder. I cant seem to find any advice on adjusting specific support settings for 0.3mm layer height.

0.3mm layers are extreme for 0.4mm nozzles, only really useful for draft prints as the interlayer adhesion can be spotty - as such you are pushing the auto-generated support stucture algorithms hard but as the prints are only drafts it rarely matters.  If you use 0.6mm nozzles the 0.3mm layer height supports will work as you expect.

Custom (CAD) supports are almost always better, especially when pushing filaments to their limits.
