Bad Top Layer

I am getting these cuts in the top layer on 2 printers.  Both are MK3S+ with MMU2S.  I received my 5 extruder XL last week.  I suspect there is something changing in the profiles when I change from the MK3S+ configuration to the XL configuration in the slicer.  This issue does not show up on files sliced prior to receiving the XL.

Basic slicing information:

PLA

215 first layer, 205 after

0.2 first layer, .25 after

3 bottom layers, 5 top layers

No ironing

Infill (grid): 5% with 10% starting 2 mm below a solid surface

I don’t see how this is the issue but I typically print with grid infill and the XL defaults to cubic.  These parts were printed with cubic because that transferred.  I didn’t see it as a big deal, but am testing it now.

These same files sliced for the XL print great.

RE: Bad Top Layer

Just an update:  I changed the infill to grid and the problem has gone away.  I have run several pieces of the same model with no issues.  I am still not sure if this is something to do with switch back and for between the MK3S+ and the XL configuration, but I am now running different instances of the slicer.  I will try to run one with cubic infill again to see if the problem comes back.
