Weird issue with my mk3

Hello I'm new to this whole 3d printing scene, but I bought a i3 kit a month or so ago and had no issue putting it together and the thing was working flawless. But my printer has started having this weird issue.

When I start a print from my SD card the printer will begin printing it like I should, then mid print at seemingly random times it will just stop and the printer acts like the reset button was pushed. It will just stop and it will turn off and then back on again. At first I just thought my SD card got corrupted so I reformated the Sd card. That didn't fix it, still the same issue. So then I thought maybe my SD card had a bad sector. So to test this theroy I plugged my computer into the printer via the USB port and sure enough it will print things out no problem that way. So I went and got a different SD card and I put my gcode file on it and everything and it's still having the same issue. So now I'm wondering if something's wrong with the SD card reader on the card it's self or maybe even the control board? I was also having a issue with my printer just not detecting my SD cards during all of this. I am using sli3er to slice and the default print settings.

;TLDR having issues printing with multiple different SD cards but I can print over USB just fine. Looking for some advice on what I can do.

Had a similar problem a year ago, prusa replaced the lcd module and not had any card errors since.

do you have a pi installed?  maybe make sure the pi stuff is turned off. I know my sd card had issues doing something like that if my pi was turned on and I used the sd card.

I have a Prusa,therefore I research.

No I don't have a raspberry pi, or any upgrades of any sort, all stock.

look for a setting called something like psi ( can't look at menu now ). make sure its off.  make check cables going to the display board.  its its worth checking them i think, small chance.

Alright I'll make sure psi is disabled.  For reference what does that setting even enable?  I'm at work right now but I'll be home in a few hours I'll definatly check my ribbon cables when I get home because I agree maybe one of them could be loose, would make sense anyways.

and double check the 2 ribbon cables are fully seated at both ends . also for testing the ribbon cables you could swap them. the SD data is only on 1 of the 2 cables

Update for everyone, I contacted prusa support a few hours ago and they are sending me a new lcd module off the suspension that mine is bad.  I have checked the ribbon connections on both the board and the lcd they are securely plugged in.  Will update again when I get the module in a few days. Thanks for all of the replies!
