Triangelabs CHC Ceramic Heater and Thermal Anomaly
I installed the Trianglelabs CHC heater (via a TD6 hotend) and initially ran into issues on a PID calibration (it would immediately reset to zero) and any attempt to do a Thermal Model Calibration failed miserably.
I then flashed the Revo firmware and followed the steps 5-16 here https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/issues/4105. This enabled me to get past PID tuning and the Thermal Model Calibration. However, any attempt to heat up the end always results in a Thermal Anomaly error.
I presume that the values put in Step 13 may be just a bit off for the CHC (even though there are some close similarities with the Revo), but curious if anyone else has tried one of these heaters and gotten them to work with the latest firmware
I downgraded my firmware for now and am able to print - but obviously this isn't a long term solution.
RE:
Even with the Revo firmware, the Revo Six itself still throws thermal anomalies constantly, so I don't have much hope for this being fixed. 🤷🏻♂️😥
I'm just sticking with 3.11 forever 😛
