Thermistor wire broken or?

Hi
Need some expert advice.
I did a crucial design miss and when I printed it I also missed the support settings so it resulted in that the printer tried to print a gap which ended with a mess and blobs a little bit everywhere.

So I tried to remove the big blobs with a plier and then I scrubbed the rest with a brass brush (as seen in a video)

I don´t know if I did any damage to the wires, because it prints fine and the temperature seem to be steady, so how do you know if something is wrong?

I attach some before and after cleaning pics, and I dońt know if you can if itś something wrong.

There are a small blob right where the wires are (I think) can that be removed by using a hair dryer or something?

The last thing is a pic of my design miss, next time I will look at it from all angels, but Ím new to this so I´m excused 🙂

Hoping for help
Krister

Re: Thermistor wire broken or?

If you damaged thermistor wire or heater wire significantly, you would already see error warnings from the printer during printing. I believe you succeeded in cleaning off the blob without breaking things. I wouldn't concentrate too much on the little blob at heater wires. Most I would do is have the heater block at temperature and gently do a little cleaning with a toothpick. That blob isn't going to harm function and trying to get it all off risk damaging those stiff wires.

Thanks!
