Temperature too high

With the latest firmware update, it’s possible that the temperature sensor give me the wrong temperature?
Everything was ok before the update, after, I have to reduce the temperature of all my print.
on my PLA, I have reduced the temperature by 20 degrees.
on my TPU, I currently making some test, and I have reduced by 50 degrees, and I will reduce the temperature again tomorrow.

Thermisters do sometimes fail - often it's the connecting wires rather than the actual part.  It isn't anything to do with firmware.

Do you have a multimeter?

Measure the resistance at room temperature, wiggle the cable, does the value change or go open circuit?

Then contact Prusa Support with the values you found.

An example of what I currently have. The top picture is with my initial temperature that I alway have print with my TPU, and the second is after my first try at lower temperature. I have print very small pin in the past, and never a blob as this.

Do you have a known-accurate thermometer that can measure the temperature of the nozzle and headbed?

Those infrared thermometers are not that expensive and can be a good sanity check on those temperatures.

RE: Temperature too high

Ok, I found that I know someone with a thermal camera. Finally, my temps seem ok. On my TPU temp, a few off, and with the PLA temp 8 degrees.
now I does not understand, why, I have print a few year with my PLA at 215/210, and now I have to reduce it to 195/190 with my last test.

but, for my TPU, I think I have found the trouble, when I was writing this. By error, I think I have chose Generic FLEX, instead of Sainsmart TPU. Generic is at 240, and the Sainsmart is at 230, and other setting are also changed. I will redo my Gcode for my d4, and test it…
