Switching between Firmwares ?
I'm not sure on this, as I'm haven't found a clear statement, is it possible to switch FW back and forth, independent of the version or is there a procedure to follow ? I'm having bad issues with 3.4 on my MK3 and would like to go back to 3.3.1if possible, to test is issues persist. Thanks for the help

Yes, you can. 😉
I did it on Saturday because of problems with the actual FW.
Went back to (i think) 3.3.1.
Now it works as good as before.
Wer freundlich fragt bekommt auch eine freundliche Antwort.
