Strong layer shift in both directions at same layer
Hi everyonem
The printer in question is in use since ~2 years. Some time in the last months my Prusa MK3S started to show layer shifting. Sometimes it is only very small (1-5mm) but also very large shifts (> 2 cm) can happen. I already tried all the suggested steps on the layer shift help page ( https://help.prusa3d.com/article/layer-shifting_2020) but unfortunately nothing worked (Tightening pulleys, turn off stealth mode, belt tension) . I only print with the standard print settings in the Prusa Slicer. Tested filaments: Das Filament PLA, Das Filament PETG, Prusament PLA, Polymaker PETG PolyLite. I tried exchanging the hotend and the filament sensor but today this happened:
Because there is such a strong shift in both x and y direction at the same time I find it hard to believe that belt tension or pulley tension could produce such results. What could help to fix this issue?
