Squicking noise: failed unwind after filament ended

Hi, Prusa Gang!

Assembled a prusa a couple of days ago and today I tested running out of filament. Unfortunately it couldn't get it back and had to open the side hatch the get it out.

After this intervention the following squicking sound appeared: https://imgur.com/a/yabWj10

On retraction there is a big squick. Sounds like wet nylon squicking. High frequency squicks sound like a machine gun on the video.

 - I don't think I've damaged the PTU tube.

 - It's not from the bondtech gears

 - Could it be plastic debris in the metal ball compartment? (full disassembly 🙁  )

On the video Josef Prusa shows he cuts a fillament and end is straight. But in my case the end had like 90 degrees so that they could begin winding the spool.

When I push the filament on the right, which is the direction that loosens the metal ball, the noise decreases or disappears. That's why I'm asking about it.

I think I've fixed it:

1. remove top cover and remove filament sensor

2. push filament and catch the filament lever with something and open it as much as you can so that the ball has a much space as possible

3. remove the filament

4. blow compressed air through the filament entry hole

no more deadly squickidy-squick

Unfortunately it's back quite fast. 

Is this normal when a lot of retraction is used?
