Squeaking while printing
Recently my mk3s has started squeaking while printing. I'm not exactly sure where it is coming from, but I think it could possibly be the filament entering the extruder.
Does anyone know how to prevent this?
While writing this post, I tried pushing the filament further into the extruder as it was printing and it seems to have stopped the noise for the moment.
RE: Squeaking while printing
Open the idler door on the extruder the check the gear are allined

RE: Squeaking while printing
I have the same problem, when printing PETG the extruder squeaks every time it retracts. It sounds like two PET water bottles being pushed together. It doesn't affect printing though. I will follow the guide above and see if it helps!
RE: Squeaking while printing
I found the problem! there was filament dust in the run-out sensor that made the noise(the filament had a hard time passing). I got most of it out, so im back printing again but i will half to disassemble it and give it a thorough clean.
