Slic3r PE: Printer, filament and other settings not preloaded?
I assembled my i3 Mk3S and installed the latest software from the site, including Slic3r PE.
When I look at the Slic3r PE instruction videos, there are a long list of printer and filament choices.
In my installed version of Slic3r PE there is just ---system presets --- and ----user presets----.
I looked through a couple of pages of this particular forum and did a slic3r PE search here on the forum, but I don't come across the same issue.
Am I doing something wrong or am I missing something obvious?
Should I download the .ini files or other configuration files somewhere else?

When you turn Slic3r PE on for the first time it should run you through a configuration wizard that asks what printer you have. Obviously you should pick the MK3S (0.4mm nozzle).

Try opening the Configuration menu and going through the Configuration assistant... wizard. Select the appropriate printer and nozzle size options. You should have a bunch of stuff under --- system presets --- afterwards.

Thanks for this! I saw "EVERYTHING ABOUT NOZZLES WITH A DIFFERENT DIAMETER") on prusaprinters.org, which claims that .25 and .6 profiles are pre-loaded. Maybe I just didn't notice that I could pick the other nozzle sizes the first time, since I didn't have any other sizes at the time, but having to tick boxes isn't really "pre-loaded". 🙂 So I was desperately to find them, and this post pointed the way: After re-running configuration and ticking the .6 box, I have the settings I was looking for.
