Shifts in Y-direction
Since quite some time I have been encountering shifts in the Y-direction when printing. But at seemingly random intervals. I have checked the belt tension on all axes multiple times. I don*t see a lot of wear on the Y belt so I didn't replace it. If anyone thinks that's necessary I'd do that too. Here is a picture of the effect:
It's the worst on the left print but even on the right one the right wall is supposed to be entirely straight which it obviously isn't.
I'm completely out of ideas! I would greatly appreciate any help!
First check the Y idler is moving freely but a more likely cause is slipping of the drive pulley on the motor shaft. Ensure the grub screws are corectly positioned and tightened.

Cheetio,
RE: Shifts in Y-direction
Now I feel stupid for not having checked this but that actually seems to have been the fix. Thanks a lot!
