Replacing fans with Noctua
Hi Hi,
I would like to replace both fans with Noctune and completely redo the Hotend.
something like:
But I don't know which one I can use if 4-pin PWM or 3-pin

do Noctua do a turbine fan?

Not a good idea...
Because the Hotend cooling fan already is from Noctua, as stated by Prusa in the article linked above.
Keep the blades of the fan clean from dust and filament stringing and it is sufficient to cool the hotend.
For the part cooling fan, a Noctua axial fan creates much less pressure than the stock radial fan, so part cooling would be worse.
Noctua does not offer radial fans.

I made the mistake of upgrading the Noctua side fan with an A4x20, which shortens the x-axis (reduces the range of gantry travel) by the ~1cm difference in thickness, which means the printer can no longer calibrate itself :/
i'm sure i could deep-dive the forums and figure out how to home on a different limit but ultimately it's a waste to lose print bed real estate.
