Remove stuck PLA from nozzle and heatbraeker

Hello,

currently I have the problem that PLA is stuck in the heatbreaker and nozzle. I removed both parts, but the nozzle is blocked and there is still 5-7cm PLA filament in the heatbreaker (tube already removed) which I can't remove. What is the best way to clean up both parts?

if you have a hobby shop nearby you can ge some 1.5mm brass rod (the RC folks use it for controls in RC models) heat the heatbreak in a propane hobby torch flame or in the gas ring of your cooktop if you cook with gas and poke the plastic plug out with the rod... when you reassemble use a collet lock to prevent the PTEF tube from moving out of contact with the top of the heatbreak in the future if it does happen again open the idler hatch in the extruder and heat the hotend about 10c hotter than your normal temp for that plastic and manually attempt to push plastic through... this will some times clear a clog if that fails then pull up the filament and then remove the nozzle and with the heater still hot try to use your brass rod to push the plug out from either the top or bottom.

see Bobstro very useful pages here http://projects.ttlexceeded.com/3d_printing.html

for a far more coherent explanation of all this
