Random seam location not working
I have a prusa MK3S with the newest firmware and the newest version of PrusaSlicer. I'm trying to print something rotationally symmetric with a random seam, but when I use that setting in the slicer, it prints with what I think is the 'furthest' seam position (two visible seams along the height of the print on opposite sides). I have tried using both the mac and pc versions of the slicer and the problem occurs in both. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
RE: Random seam location not working
When in doubt - try a different slicer.
Cura is really good and has a few bells and whistles that Prusa does not - yet - like tree supports.

I would prefer to use the "aligned" seam position for best results. Here an example of the different seam positions:
As you can see, all seam position options are working proper. The seamposition also depends on the design of your printpart.
