radial fan unusually loud when cold
Hi there,
are your radial fans (for print cooling, the one you can see when looking at the printer) also so extremely loud when starting the printer?
It does a fan check I assume and puts fans on 100%. My fan is making a loud sound like it's bearing is dry. It reminds me an old chipset fan on a 10-year old computer, it simply started to shake around the shaft, hence the noise
When I stop it with my finger and let it go, sometimes it stops. The fan is new, only few hours of print old. Is this normal?
thanks

ah the death rattle of a fan. record a video, send it to support, they'll replace it.

replaced, thanks

Mine also makes a lot of noise at startup. The noise only lasts for a few seconds. I guess it starts up at 100%, but soon reverts to a slower (quieter) speed. Maybe I should stock up on a replacement just in case.
