Prusa i3 MK3 filament won't extrude or unload

This problem started with my fan on the side of the extruder not working. I got it working but now the filament is jammed. I cannot extrude it or unload it. I have tried heating the nozzle up to 290 and try pulling the filament out. I also tried heating the nozzle up to 290 and used an acupuncture needle to try and loosen up the blockage. I was able to get the needle in a long way. I tried a cold pull but can pull nothing loose. Nothing has worked. I ran a selftest to make sure everything else was working and it was all working fine.

What should my next step be? I feel like I am going to have to disassemble the extruder to get the blockage clear. Are there any other options?

Raose nozzle to say 160mm. Open up the bondtech door. Heat nozzle . Hold heatblock ad hot as it will gostill with spanner.
Undo nozzle.
Try pushing the filament firmly into the extruder housin hopefully this will dislodge the blockage.
If successful. Remove waste.
Unload filamentby pulling out of extruder
While beatblock is still hot Re install nozzle
Use New nozzle if you have one.
Otherwise clean old nozzle before reassembly...
I Use coppaslil antisieze paste to reduse chance of screw thread jamming

Put tissue on build plate under extruder to catch waste.
Re adjust bomdtech trapdoor
Preheat to correct temperature

Reload filament
Catch waste and dispose ensuring coppaslil does not contaminate build plate.

Re adjust live a.. . This will probably be a new value...

Do a test print

Joan,
I use a lot of the Locktite brand stick line of products in my machine shop due to they way they are less likely to drip where I don't want them.

is their copper based anti seize (they offer aluminum and Nickel based as well) and for a brass nozzle into an aluminum block that also has steel and stainless steel things screwed into it at the temperatures that plastic filament printers work at any of them would work ok.

I just find them less messy and their stick versions of both red and blue thread locker products I also find useful to control problems such as product getting where you do not want it. Now that I am in my 70s the slight age related essential tremor in my hands can be a problem applying the liquid and paste versions of these products in tight and confined areas on small parts...

just passing on what has worked for me I have no connection with the company involved other than as a customer.
