Printing with PET keeps pausing

I am trying to print a few things with my MK3 and the newest firmware and PET. Every time I print it just prints a bit and then pauses.
I have tried a few models and they all do the same thing. I have also tried S3D and PrusaControl... Same thing.

Here is what I see in OctoPrint, any ideas??

Interesting, the same G code works with ABS, I have no idea, I am printing at 240 which is Ok for either material...
Any ideas?

Your filament sensor is falesely detecting that your filament jammed. Turn off the filament sensor.

The optical sensor has problems with some filaments, and PETG seems to be a common problem.

I can confirm this. I had the exact same problem with transparent orange PETG, and turning the filament sensor off solved the issue.

+1
Inland Translucent Orange PETG
Inland Translucent Magenta PETG

Lots false jams detected. Disabled filament sensor when printing these materials. Firmware 3.2.0rc1

Prusa MK3 preassembled (R2/B6) > (R3/B/7)
Prusa MK2.5 kit > MK3 > MK3+MMU2 (R3/B/7) 😀
Prusa SL1 3D printer + Curing and Washing Machine (day1 order)
Taz6
CR10s4
Delta 3ku

So are all these false errors due to the translucency of the PETG material causing the filament sensor to get a false read? If one could gently abrade the surface of the filament to give it more of an opaque surface, would that address the situation?

just turning the sensor off is enough. especially since the sensor does not do much more than check for runouts. I have never had it once even catch a stuck filament. so other than loading and catching when you run out of filament there isn't much use for it now.

yes to translucency, if it gets enough light through the filament it assumes it is out. Glossy black pet-g/abs/pla can also fool it.
