Printbed indicates 90-100 without preheating

On the info screen on startup - nozzle temp is 21, printbed indicated 90-100 without any preheating.  The printbed is cool to the touch.  New preassembled printer - what do I need to check?

Best Answer by Neophyl:

Check your wiring for the bed temperature sensor.  If the wirings ok then check the sensor itself.

It may just be a plug shaken loose in transit.  The first check is to make sure they are all pushed home.

Cheerio,

@neophyl

Good tip! I ended up switching thermistor with hotend and then had the high reading at hotend. Prusa accepted this as bad thermistor and is resending the part.
