Poor adhesion at the edges

Hi!

Faced with the problem of poor adhesion of the model at the edges of the sheet. I tried it from both sides - the same.

I did the calibration of the first layer and the full calibration - it does not change.

what are you printing, and what are your print settings? If you're printing PLA on textured sheets, you may get adhesion problems. if you have to print PLA on the textured sheets, try increasing the bed temp, thicker first layer height and/or print first layer slower. 65C bed, with 0.25mm first layer height and 20mm/s works for me

Do you think it's from the uneven heating of the bed? The adhesion in the center is excellent.

It seems that the level of the bed in the center and at the edges is different.

Are you letting the heat soak through ?  Its best to preheat the bed for 5-10 minutes before doing any printing normally anyway.  That lets things get to temperature fully and lets any thermal expansion occur.  Ideally final live z adjustment should also be done with the printer 'at temp' and left to soak heat, that way things are much more consistent when printing anyway.

you could try preheating as suggested. but if your bed is heating that unevenly, it may be a faulty bed.  alternatively, you could do the Nyloc mod using Octoprint. I did that myself, and found that it increases reliability greatly, especially coupled with the mesh leveling. you can tell the PINDA is struggling when it tries to hit the same point multiples times more than the stated 3 or 7 readings, i never had that since doing the Nyloc mod

Is that a new sheet?.. sometimes there is a manufacturing film that needs to be scrubbed off.. try using the scour side of a dish sponge.. not too hard.. with good amount of soap.. I had the same issue with my rough sheet when I got it.

No, it's my old textured sheet, but one side is new. The seal is the same on both sides.

Washing with soap helps. Isopropyl alcohol too. Just in the center, you can not wipe with alcohol, but along the edges every time before printing.

Nyloc mod very interesting idea. I will definitely get acquainted. I have an octoprint.
