Panic cable pin detached from power supply PCB

Hello,

I tried to reconnect the Einsi panic cable to the power supply, but the plug was loose. I took the power supply apart and discovered, that the soldering terminal for one of the pins has detached from the PCB including the conductor on the PCB.

The conductor on the PCB is gone, I could try to solder a cable at a different location but that would be difficult.

Do you know the purpose of this cable? Can the printer be operated without it?

Best regards,

Moe

The printer will function without it, but you will not be able to recover long prints with a print failure.
