Nozzle impossible to unscrew?

Hello everyone. About a month ago, I assembled a Prusa MK3 kit and I have been extremely happy with it. Currently, I am attempting to switch to a 0.25 nozzle for high precision prints (such as miniatures). However, while trying to follow the instructions to change the nozzle on the prusa help site, I get stuck at step 5, unscrewing the nozzle. Now, I will say that I do not have a spanner for the nozzle. I am holding the heating block with an adjustable wrench, and I am trying to unscrew the nozzle with the supplied pliers. It simply will not come off. I fear that if I use more force that I am already using I may damage the nozzle - I believe I may have made a few scratches already.

Are the pliers supposed to be enough to unscrew the stock nozzle? If not the instructions should reflect that better. If so, what could I be doing wrong?

Thank you for your help.

Yes, I used the built-in function to heat the nozzle hot end to 280°C.

After spending a $1000+ on a printer, you really don't want to skim on the tools. Buy some proper sized wrenches, and/or print one of the 3Nm torque wrenches here: https://www.printables.com/model/24539-torque-wrench-handles-from-10nm-up-to-30nm

And of course, @hello's suggestion to contact Prusa support makes sense to find someone who can talk you through it.

RE:

yes.. +1.. I was inadvertantly tightening it when I did mine.. .. (lefty loosey) .. and use a socket for the nozzle, not an adjustable..
