Nozzle clogged on same layer 3 times in a row

Hi guys, I’m hoping someone may have seen this before. I’m printing the gravity spool holders off the Prusa model library, and I got 3 of them to print beautifully. But on my next 3 attempts, I came out to the garage to hear my printer banging as it tried to push filament through a clog. On all 3 of these failed attempts, it clogged on the exact same layer. The end of the filament just looks conical as though it was inside the nozzle and took the shape of the nozzle. I read somewhere that it could have to do with retraction and snagging on the PTFE tube inside the hotend, but I took it apart and don’t see any irregularities. The PTFE tube is inserted snugly into place with the collet in the desired position. My retraction is currently on the default setting as well. Anybody know what might be going on here?
