New Firmware !
Assembled my kit, finally printing steady, updated to the 3.1.3 firmware and the printer begun failing the self test, "check x axis"
Rolled back to 3.1.2 and it passes all tests now.
what is the solution to this ?

Which kit? Also, make sure you're using the correct hex file (or Configuration_prusa.h if you build it yourself) for your printer. One time I accidentally used the MK1 configuration.
