Motor pulley grub screw check
For kit builders.
After 9 months, during Y-axis maintenance, I checked the motor pulley and discovered that the grub screws were just barely holding on and I had to re-tighten them. It was only a matter of time before they let loose and caused a problem. I know they were tight at time of assembly.
I have now included a scheduled "motor pulley" grub screw check over and above any other maintenance.

Add words to describe tightening.
You have to loosen both, align one with the flat, fully tighten that one - then tighten the other.
Done any other way - they will come lose again.

My bad!
I should have prefaced my post with:
"This is not a how-to post but is for awareness only. It documents what I found and what I am doing to prevent an issue in the future."
