MK3S - X Reset Button - Equivalent Software Command ?
Hello,
I am looking for a command that resets the MK3S, that I can execute remotely through OctoPrint, that has the same functionality as the physical reset button under control knob. I don't want to factory reset, or resume a print... I want it to simply 'soft' reset. I see different D and M codes that -might- do that, such as D0 B (reset bootloader)... just not clear on whether these commands flush calibration or config data.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you all!

What happens if you disconnect and re connect using Octoprint?
I thought that forced a reset...

I have not tried that... just seems sort of excessive, wouldn't you agree? I just figured it would have been an easier command that can be issued to the printer to cause it to soft-reset... since Marlin FW seems to offer multiple 'types' of reset options, and even Prusa's own-specific g-gcodes indicate a method of 'resetting' the printer... D0, D1, M502... there just isn't enough documentation on what exactly D0 and D1 do to the printer.

Came here looking for the same thing. Is there a g-code or m-code equivalent to pressing the reset button on the front panel?

I ended up contacting Prusa over this question, and they confirmed that a D0 command would indeed reset the printer. Unfortunately, during my testing, this is not the behavior I observed. (No change in behavior observed). If you here if anything, please let us know!

I don't know any way to trigger a x-reset by command. I solved it via the Raspberry pi over gpio (connected 2 lines on the lcd ribbon cables - gnd/reset). Reset over USB also workes.
