MK2.5S -> MK3S+ upgrade

Hi All, between a friend and I we had enough parts after buying the heated bed and einsy board from Prusa for me to upgrade my MK2.5S up to a MK3. Everything went well and I was able to calibrate it just fine. The problem that I am trying to solve is that the Y axis seems to be inverted. These are the original steppers that came with my MK2 back when I bought it. Did the Y direction change between the MK2 and the MK3? Which wire pair should I change to get the direction to go the correct way? All 4 steppers have the wires arranged Blue Red Green Black from top to bottom when plugged into the Einsy.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

if you take a look to the available spare parts, stepper motors are still identical for MK2 and MK3. So it should not be in motors as such.

Take a look to the 3D model of both printers. The Y axis motor is mounted from the right side in MK2 and from the left side on MK3. So definitely there has to be a change in FW to swap the rotation direction. So have you uploaded correct firmware? Try to make the factory reset prior to FW reloading as well.
