Re: Loss of heating to hot end mid print

is it possible for you to check the heater voltage at the same time?
it should only be marginally less than psu voltage

How would one go about doing that? You mean like measuring with a multimeter across the heater cartrige wires?

Re: Loss of heating to hot end mid print

yes, measuring on the Rambo plug

I would connect a couple of tap wires, one to each wire, when the printer is off... and attach a multimeter to these wires

then making sure they couldn't touch, and short... try the test again...

of course, if the main psu voltage drops, the secondary test will be unnecessary

Hello. I am experiencing the same issue. That started happening when I moved my printure into enclosure, that made me to disconnect PSU and connect it back. I never experienced such a problem before. I also looked at all the wires and reconnected them. Everything looks fine.

Warrawarra have you solved the issue?

Basically, it looks like a RAMBO is faulty. I contacted the support and they are sending me the new board.
