LCD selector knob not working properly
I am having an issue with my selector knob. When I’m in the menu and try to scroll up or down the cursor on the screen does what it wants to. There is no method to the madness. If I am trying to adjust the temp it will bounce around and go up a few degrees then down a few then up a few more. That is when I turn the wheel one way. If I reverse the rotation I get the same result. Has anyone seen this, what can I do, my printer is only a few months old so this is really annoying.
There are two possibilities, either you have a faulty component or you have an intermittent, 'loose', connection.
To check the connection pull and reseat the plugs at both ends of the LCD ribbon cables.
In no improvement then either the rotary encoder is faulty or a debounce component has failed. In this case contact Prusa support by logging into your Eshop account: navigate to support and live chat is at bottom right in most browsers. If not you may need to disable your ad-blocker temporarily.

Remove knob
Test by removing the know and rotating pressing the shaft. It could also be the knob that is interfering.
