lcd knob dying

Wondering if there's a solution out there. My lcd knob is dying. Still turns just fine but clicking it in is not registering half the time. Is there a way to replace just that part or do I have to buy a new lcd setup just for a faulty button?

RE: lcd knob dying

I contacted support via chat on the shop and had to replace my LCD board when this happened to one of my Mk3 printers.  If you are good at soldering, I guess you could replace the component, but I would not trust my soldering to the wear and tear of using the knob.

Good news is that a board swap is a quick fix. I took the opportunity to replace mine with a spiffy black and white version. Not as nice as Vintage PC's, bit it was 10 minutes work.
